Paul studied medicine at St Georges Hospital Medical School, London. He completed his core surgical training and passed his FRCS examinations at the Royal College of Surgeons in England. He undertook his specialist orthopaedic training on the South East Thames Training Program incorporating the teaching hospitals of Guys, St Thomas’s and Kings College Hospital. Paul then spent a year in Australia undertaking a research fellowship in Knee and Sports Surgery at SportsMed.SA in Adelaide where he treated an extensive range of sports injuries including in elite athletes.


                                           


He returned to England to take up his Consultant post in 2002 and is currently Consultant Orthopaedic and Knee Surgeon based at the Princess Royal Hospital, Farnborough, Orpington Hospital and Beckenham Beacon.

Paul Gill is an experienced Knee Surgeon who specialises in all aspects of knee injuries and treats a comprehensive range of knee conditions. These include sports injuries, meniscus (cartilage) tears, ligament injuries including anterior cruciate ligament tears, malalignment conditions, patella (kneecap) problems, childhood conditions and osteoarthritis (wear and tear). Each condition is assessed and treatment is tailored to the individual. Following accurate diagnosis many conditions can be managed without surgery. If surgery is required it can often be undertaken using keyhole techniques to enhance a speedy recovery from injury. He also undertakes Total Hip Replacement Surgery.
